Before you ask

Before you ask someone for something, it’s a good idea to know what you’re asking them to do or help you with.

You may think you know, but after they deliver, if it’s not what you were expecting or wanted, but fits the mold of what you asked for perfectly, is it their fault or yours?

A way to prevent this is to ask more questions of yourself before you put it out there for help and think through the possibilities of what your request could be interpreted as.

This isn’t the same as procrastination. What it is though is a way to help you and the person you’re asking to get to a solution in an overall quicker, more efficient, and less stress induced way.

Ask more questions of yourself, then ask someone for help.
