It would be great if we had all the time and resources to pursue what we wanted, fix what we needed, and enjoy the rest of the time without feeling the pressure of the deadline.
But we don’t.
When we say, write, or do something, it’s born out of the experiences we’ve had in the past.
And all of the decisions that we’ve made have gotten us to the point where we are.
So the next time you have a choice between doing something mildly enjoyable that won’t do much for you over something mildly annoying that will make a huge positive impact, think hard about what your future self would want you to do.
