There are lots of reasons why people stop listening.
They could be too busy with family obligations or distracted by the new game on their phone.
They could be emersed in their work or watching the game.
They could even be putting you to the side in favor of your competitor.
The thing is, this can’t be avoided. If you’re trying to get people to listen to what you have to offer, you’re undoubtedly going to encounter people who will tune you out.
While it can be frustrating, it’s an opportunity to hone your message and ask yourself if those people are the ones you’d want hearing what you have to say in the first place.
