Slower connections

When looking at internet connections, faster speeds are always best, right?

Most of the time I’d say for sure. Unless…unless you’re trying to be more deliberate.

We bounce around the web day in and day out, sometimes aimless and sometimes frantic. The reason is there doesn’t seem to be a cost to us doing this. But there is.

The cost is that we’re not always absorbing what we’re reading and not always making the best choice as to where to find the info we need next.

A slower connection forces us to make better, more thought out choices, because clicking on something that we’re not quite sure about could cost us more time.

When you’re searching and are in doubt, go slower.
