What’s next?

Is this a question that we’re asking enough?

Not so much in the “throw your hands up in exasperation” sense, but more in the “what should I be spending my time on to better serve my customers?”

Businesses and organizations that have too many people waiting for someone else to tell them what to do next aren’t able to innovate or solve problems as well as those who have many people taking small, calculated risks.

Some of these ideas won’t work out, that’s a given. But if those people were hired because they are smart and believe in the goals of the organization, then they’re thinking and progressing with the greater good in mind.

Every day, no matter where you work or what you do, it’s worth it to think about where you can take things from here.
